Early morning fire erupts in abandoned building

Fire officials are investigating an early morning blaze at an abandoned apartment building in the Parkview/Woodbrook neighborhood of Baltimore.

The fire at the three-story building in the 3400 block of Auchentoroly Terrace occurred around 4:15 a.m., fire Capt. Paul Demme said. The building was completed gutted he said; the walls on several sides collapsed.

No one was injured in the fire, Demme said. The cause remains under investigation.
