Man and woman found dead in Ellicott City house

Police say child made discovery, thought they were hurt

September 11, 2010|By Nick Madigan, The Baltimore Sun

Two people, a man and a woman, were found dead Saturday in an Ellicott City house, according to police in Howard County.

A child made the discovery but thought they were merely hurt, police said. The department had received a 911 call at about 6 p.m. from a neighbor in the 3700 block of Bonnybridge Place reporting that the child had found two injured people in the house.

Paramedics were summoned and found a man and woman dead from what appeared to be traumatic injuries, police said. Their identities had not been confirmed late Saturday.

Investigators found a weapon but gave no details as to what it was. There was no evidence of forced entry.
