Worship services

The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 7606 Quarterfield Road in Glen Burnie, returns to its fall/winter worship schedule on Sunday, Sept. 12. Sunday worship services begin at 10:30 a.m., with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. A picnic follows the services. Hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages will be provided. Information: 410-766-8778.

'Celebration of Miracles'

Event takes place at 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at Chesapeake Christian Center, 206 Weston Woods Drive in Pasadena. David and Gail Price deliver a message on healing for broken relationships, sickness, financial needs and more. Information: 410-255-3168.

Annual celebration

St. Paul's Lutheran Church holds its annual "Bless the Years Celebration" on Sept. 25 and 26 at the church, 308 Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie. The event is to help people recognize and celebrate each year that's added to their lives as a gift from God and to respond with renewed commitment and service. Activities include a luncheon for those 55 and older at noon Sept. 25. Michael Walter, along with A Poor Man's Band, provides the musical entertainment. At the 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship service Sept. 26, all senior members and guests 55 and older will be recognized and a special tribute will be given to those 80 and older. The Rev. George Black is the preacher. An $8 reservation for the luncheon is required. Information: 410-766-2283.
