St. Paul's boys upset No. 8 Archbishop Curley in soccer

Kevin Delmonte made six saves to earn the shutout and Oluwarotimi Lademo scored twice as the host St. Paul's boys soccer team upset No. 8 Archbishop Curley, 2-0, on Wednesday.

Lademo scored on corner kicks in each half for St. Paul's (1-2). Curley fell to 3-1.

Girls soccer

No. 5 John Carroll 1, Bel Air 0: Leah Pace scored the game-winner in the 21st minute to lift the visiting Patriots (3-0) over the Bobcats.

No. 8 C. Milton Wright 3, Maryvale 1: Freshman Alyssa Austen scored twice in the first half to lead the Mustangs (2-0-1) past the visiting Lions.

Field hockey

Notre Dame Prep 1, No. 10 Garrison Forest 0: Sydney Peterson scored off a penalty corner at the 14:32 mark of the first half as the visiting Blazers upset the Grizzlies (1-2). Garrison Forest has lost twice to unranked teams in two days. The Grizzlies lost, 5-3, to St. Mary's on Tuesday. Quinn Feeley earned the shutout with five saves.
