One hurt in East Baltimore fire

Person suffered burns in 4 a.m. blaze in Broadway East

One person was injured in a row house fire in east Baltimore early Thursday morning, according to a city fire spokesman.

The fire was reported before 4 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Patterson Park Avenue in the Broadway East neighborhood, according to fire spokesman Chief Kevin Cartwright.

One person suffered burns, he said. No firefighters were injured, however.

The cause remains under investigation, Cartwright said.
