10-year-old shot in hand in one of two Baltimore shootings

Baltimore police are investigating two shootings Thursday night, including one with a child victim.

Police said a 10-year-old boy was shot in the left hand just after 10 p.m. in the 1100 block of north Lakewood Avenue, in the Biddle Street neighborhood in East Baltimore.

Police were also investigating an earlier shooting in the 1600 block of Lorman Court in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood in West Baltimore, where a man was shot in the leg.

No details were immediately available on either incident.
