Man shot in E. Baltimore, police say

Victim found lying in street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds

A 28-year-old man was shot Sunday night in East Baltimore, according to city police.

Officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 2900 block of Jefferson St. at about 11:20 p.m. and found the man lying in an alley suffering from several gunshot wounds to the body, police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, according to police.

Police have made no arrests.
