Two men arrested in connection with a scheme under which fake cash was being printed in a Pikesville motel room have been charged under federal statutes, according to Baltimore County police. A third man was killed by detectives early Thursday during a gunfight in the motel's parking lot.
Darryl S. Bacon, 31, and Dayon D. Barnes, 26, are accused of counterfeiting, reproducing currency and possession of counterfeit currency. Bacon, who lives on the 10700 block of Chapeldale Road in Randallstown, was released on $175,000 bail. Barnes, of the 1000 block of Hollins St. in West Baltimore, was freed on $150,000 bail.
