Motorcycle passenger killed in crash with SUV in Parkville

Drivers of both vehicles survive

A female passenger on a motorcycle was killed early Sunday in a head-on collision with a sport utility vehicle in Parkville, Baltimore County police said.

The collision happened about 12:30 a.m. at Putty Hill and Summit avenues. The condition of the motorcycle driver was not known, and the driver of the SUV was not injured, according to police.

The motorcycle passenger was identified as Kimberly J. Bortell, 43, of the 700 block of Norris Lane in Essex. Police were continuing to investigate the crash.
