Towson names Zaleski interim director of athletics

Ted Zaleski Jr. has been named Towson University's interim director of athletics, university president Robert L. Caret announced Thursday.

Zaleski, who has served as chief of staff to Caret since 2003, will continue in his current role while manning the interim athletic director position. Zaleski replaces Mike Hermann, who resigned June 15.

Zaleski first came to Towson in 1987, teaching part-time in the political science department. He led the president's transition team in 2003 and has served as Caret's executive assistant ever since.
