June 30, 2010|By Liz F. Kay, The Baltimore Sun

Two men were shot in West Baltimore early Wednesday morning, according to Baltimore police.

The men, ages 18 and 21, were walking in the 1300 block of West Baltimore St. at about 1:15 a.m. when they passed two people who said something to them, said police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

The men turned toward the two people, who pulled a gun and shot at them.

The 18-year-old was shot in the left leg, and the 21-year-old was shot in the left hand, Guglielmi said.

They went to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, he said.

Police had no information about motives or suspects at this time, the spokesman said.
