Emily Weiman

Archbishop Spalding, junior, pitcher

Weiman finished the season at 17-3, leading the Cavaliers to the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship.

Weiman had 305 strikeouts in 136 innings pitched — an average of 15 strikeouts per game — and an 0.15 ERA. She also threw four no-hitters, including two perfect games.

A North Carolina State commitment, she was a captain and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Weiman is "a true leader on the field who had a variety of pitches that kept batters guessing," said Spalding coach Kristin Scharek.
