Baltimore police investigating W. Baltimore homicide

Baltimore homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man in West Baltimore early Tuesday morning.

The shooting, in the 500 block of N. Fulton Avenue in the Harlem Park neighborhood, was reported at 12:43 a.m., according to police.

A police officer from the Western district was on patrol when he heard gunshots coming from the 500 block of N. Fulton Avenue, said Detective Jeremy Silbert, a Baltimore police spokesman.

The officer went to investigate and found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Silbert said.

The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:12 a.m., the spokesman said.
