The victim of the fatal crash on Interstate 70 in Marriottsville has been identified by Maryland State Police.

Dennie Benjamin Miller, 38, of Fairfield, Pa., was driving westbound on Interstate 70 at Route 40 when his box truck left the roadway just before 8 a.m., eventually striking several trees, police said.

Investigators are still working to determine what may have caused the crash. Miller's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy, said Sgt. Benjamin Neil of the Waterloo barracks.
