Pedestrians hit, dog killed when SUV jumps curb in city

Two unidentified pedestrians were injured, one severely, and a dog was killed when an SUV jumped the curb Sunday evening in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road, city police said.

A police spokesman said the emergency call came about 6 p.m. and one of the pedestrians was trapped under the vehicle. The victim, who was not identified, was transported to Sinai Hospital. Police were investigating.
