Marathon to close Howard Co. roads Sunday

Md. 108 to be closed to eastbound traffic from Harper's Farm Road to Ten Mills

The Columbia Triathlon is expected to cause major traffic delays on Clarksville Pike, between Columbia Road to Harper's Farm Road in Ellicott City Sunday morning.

Clarksville Pike will be closed to eastbound traffic from Harper's Farm Road to Ten Mills Road from 6:45 a.m. to noon.

With about 2,000 runners expected, drivers are advised to use caution in the area.

Delays are anticipated along the following roads, where participants will be given the right of way:

Running route (6.2 miles)

• Old Annapolis Road

• Carillon Drive

• Cross Country Drive

• Century Drive

• Colonial Drive

Cycling route (25.2 miles)

• Homewood Road

• Folly Quarter Road

• Triadelphia Road

• Triadelphia Mill Road

• Green Bridge Road

• Howard Road

• Linthicum Road
