No motive disclosed in Sunday killing in Arlington neighborhood

April 20, 2010

Police have identified the man found fatally shot in a vehicle in Northwest Baltimore on Sunday as 40-year-old Sean Carlos Johnson. Johnson, of the 3200 block of Kenyon Ave., was found at about 11:10 a.m. in a vehicle with its engine running in the 3700 block of Lewiston Ave. in the Arlington neighborhood, police said. His legs were hanging out of the driver's side door and he was suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Court records show Johnson had been arrested at least twice in recent years for operating unlicensed taxicabs, or "hacking." Police did not disclose a motive or whether they had identified any suspects.
