City hit by fatal group of early weekend shootings

A series of shootings disrupted the city Friday night and Saturday morning, according to multiple sources.

Police posted a series of updates on Twitter documenting four incidents, starting with an adult male being shot Friday night at 3215 Spaulding.

The separate shootings led to deaths during a roughly four hour period, according to InvestigativeVoice.com, which reports that at least three people were killed. Police wrote of shootings on Spaulding, Kenshaw, North and Milton Avenues.

In the Kenshaw Avenue incident, two adults are wounded, one in the head, the other in the back, according to WJZ television. One of the victims later died, InvestigativeVoice has reported. The site also reported additional deaths.
