Man in critical condition after E. Baltimore stabbing

Police arrest suspect after foot chase

A 36-year-old man is in critical condition after he was stabbed several times Wednesday morning in East Baltimore in a dispute over money, according to city police.

Police have arrested a suspect.

Officers were patrolling the 1000 block of E. Eager St. about 1 a.m. when they saw a man being attacked by a group of men, police said. As officers approached the scene, one man was seen stabbing the victim with a knife. The suspect fled on foot but was caught by other officers, according to police. The other suspects all fled.

The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, according to police.
