A group of volunteers on Tuesday received approval from the nonprofit agency that runs the city's annual Artscape festival to develop an exhibition for interactive technology. The volunteer group, BmoreSmart, proposed a two-day series of demonstrations, exhibits, lectures and social events focused on new and experimental technology. The Baltimore Office of Arts and Promotion approved the group's plans for the technology component of Artscape, which will be called Betascape.
