Man found shot to death

City police are investigating two shootings this evening -- an early morning homicide on the west side and a late night shooting at E. North Avenue and Aisquith Street, not far from Greenmount Cemetery.

Police did not release the names of either victim.

One adult male, the apparent victim of a shooting, was found dead at 8:30 am Sunday in the 5300 block of Denmore Avenue in Baltimore, according to a police spokeswoman, Det. Nicole Monroe.

In the second case, homicide detectives had been called to the scene of the shooting of a man who was severely injured on the east side of the city at about 10:30 p.m.
