Emergency readiness classes

The Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services offers a series of free classes in Citizens Emergency Readiness Training (CERT), beginning Saturday at the James N. Robey Public Safety Training Center, 2200 Scott Wheeler Drive in Marriottsville. Program is designed to educate residents about disaster preparedness for natural and man-made emergencies. During training residents will learn skills that can provide support to others until professional help arrives.
