Steele's leadership of the Republican National Committee referred imprecisely to the roles of Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie at a new GOP fundraising group, American Crossroads. While Rove and Gillespie are supporters and advocates of the venture, American Crossroads says they hold no formal roles.
An article in Tuesday's editions referred incorrectly to a tax credit that Democratic Gov. Martin O'Malley promoted during a recent tour of a Baltimore cyber-security company. It was a tax credit that O'Malley introduced and signed on the state level, not the federal jobs credit that President Barack Obama recently signed into law.
The time of the autograph session with Orioles designated hitter Luke Scott at Bass Pro Shops at Arundel Mills was wrong in Sunday's Outdoors Calendar. Scott will be talking baseball and signing autographs from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday. The event is free.
