Loyola senior midfielder Ebsary honored by ECAC

Loyola senior midfielder Taylor Ebsary was named Eastern College Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Greyhounds past Ohio State on Saturday. Ebsary scored a goal and had three assists for a career-high four points and held the Buckeyes' leading scorer, Logan Schuss, without a goal.

More honors: Bucknell junior defender Alex Lyons (Boys' Latin) was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after helping the Bison to 11-9 and 11-2 victories. ... Salisbury junior goalkeeper Johnny Rodriguez (Mount St. Joseph) was named Capital Athletic Conference Player of the Week after making 15 saves to help the Sea Gulls to two victories, including a 16-10 road win over then-No. 1 Stevenson. ... McDaniel sophomore DJ Rickels (Boys' Latin) was named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high six goals and adding two assists in a 15-6 victory over Swarthmore.

Poll: Salisbury took over the top spot in the United States Intercollegiate Division III Top 20. Gettysburg moved up to No. 2, and Stevenson fell to third.
