Protect this home-grown company

April 06, 2010

In regard to the latest Sunpapers article about the Under Armour logo on Federal Hill Park ("Under Armour logo on on Federal Hill may be illegal," April 6), so what if it violated a city ordnance? I don't see what the big deal is. It's gone now, and the patchwork itself will soon disappear.

In light of Baltimore's reputation as a "branch office town," everyone should move on and stop complaining about one of the few corporate headquarters left here. I recall a few years ago that the Vietnam Veterans Memorial's proposed location on Federal Hill Park was re-located due to residence complaints. Talk about disrespectful.
