Council president doesn't inspire much confidence in Baltimore

April 04, 2010

City Council President Bernard C. "Jack" Young said he had two homes in the city, but he did not want one address know for the protection of him and his family ("Young leads tour to quiet rumors of residency," April 1). He said that because of his many statements about drug dealing gangs. This does not make me feel safe living in the city. Is this a verbal potshot at the police department or the Drug Enforcement Administration? Maybe we all should move out.
