Woman dies after stabbing in Annapolis

Annapolis Police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman found Friday in the first block of Pleasant Street.

Officers responded at 2:34 p.m. and found the victim, who was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center but later died.

Police spokesman Ray Weaver said the department has a person of interest and that the stabbing was "not a random act."
