City police have made an arrest in the October stabbing death of a man who was found on a street in Northeastern Baltimore.

Larry Douglas Jr., 20, was arrested Tuesday at his home in the 1400 block of Mullikin Court and charged in the murder of Darren Green, 24.

Green was found by police in the 1500 block of Montpelier St. in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello neighborhood about 5 a.m. Oct. 25. Officers found Green bleeding from the left side of his body. He was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Douglas was charged with first- and second-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault, according to Agent Donny Moses, a police spokesman. He could not say what led police to Douglas, and he declined discuss a motive for the crime.

According to electronic court records, three months before he was killed, Green was convicted of selling drugs and sentenced to prison for seven years, with all but four months suspended. His exact release date was not available Tuesday night.
