The junior pitcher put a perfect spin on the No. 3 Cavaliers' season opener. Not only did she throw a perfect game, but she batted 1.000. Weiman struck out all 15 batters she faced in a five-inning, 20-0 win over Calverton and went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run. Last season, she was 3-1 with a 0.50 ERA and had 69 strikeouts in 28 innings; she also batted .383. A right-hander who plays for the Riviera Beach Spirit 18-and-Under Gold, Weiman has committed orally to North Carolina State. She has a 3.8 grade-point average.
