Man, 20, found fatally shot in city's Berea neighborhood

Baltimore police were investigating the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man Monday night in East Baltimore.

An officer responded to a 9 p.m. report of a shooting in the 2600 block of Grogan Ave., in the Berea neighborhood, police said. The victim was found lying in an alley behind the even side of the 2600 block with a gunshot wound in his torso, according to police.

The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:31 p.m., police said.
