A 41-year-old man has been arrested in the murder of a Cockeysville resident with whom he lived, according to Baltimore County police.

Jose Isabel Posada was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Vicente Perez-Soto, 48, whose body was found last week outside his home in the 10800 block of Williamson Lane.

Police responding to a report of an unconscious person at the home about 4:10 a.m. March 10 found Perez-Soto suffering from severe head trauma. An autopsy determined that he had been struck several times with a sharp object.

According to police, Posada made the 911 call, and he gave inconsistent accounts to investigators about the circumstances of the case. Posada was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Anne Arundel County and was being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bail.

Police have yet to determine a motive.
