Salisbury women roll past Roanoke in lacrosse, 21-7

Roxanne Raab (Fallston) had four goals and one assist as No. 2 Salisbury (7-0, 2-0 Capital Athletic Conference) rolled to a 21-7 victory over Roanoke (1-3). Logan Bilderback (Broadneck) added three goals and one assist, and Kim Cudmore (Bel Air) had two goals and two assists.

College track and field: Maryland junior Kiani Profit broke two school records and earned All-America status with a second-place finish in the pentathlon at the NCAA indoor championships Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark. Profit finished with 4,242 points in the five-event competition, beating her school-record of 4,125 set two weeks ago at the Atlantic Coast Conference indoor meet. She finished behind only Brianne Theisen of Oregon, who won the pentathlon with 4,396 points. Profit also set a school record in the first event of the day, running 8.40 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles. She jointly held the school record of 8.49 with Kierra Foster before Saturday's event.
