Troy Smith might reconsider crawling to Cleveland

* After acquiring two quarterbacks, the Cleveland Browns appear to be a less attractive landing spot for Ravens backup QB Troy Smith.

A week ago, Troy Smith's agent said the Ravens backup quarterback "would crawl from Baltimore right now to be able to play in Cleveland."

Well, Smith might want to re-think such a journey.

Since those comments, the Browns traded for Seneca Wallace on Monday and signed free agent Jake Delhomme on Saturday. So, Cleveland wouldn't be a viable destination unless Smith wants to be a third-string quarterback.

Smith was tendered by the Ravens as a restricted free agent. A team would have to give up a fifth-round draft pick as compensation for signing Smith to an offer sheet.

According to the Ravens, Smith worked out at team headquarters last week, and he has been around the facility throughout the offseason.
