No. 9 Knights will meet No. 4 Digital Harbor in 2A North final

LaShay Taft had a game-high 22 points to power No. 9 City past Lansdowne, 68-27, in a Class 2A North regional semifinal Wednesday. Taft was held scoreless in the first half but scored 16 in the third quarter.

The Knights (20-4) face host No. 4 Digital Harbor in Friday's regional championship.

Both teams won state titles last season. City is the defending 2A champion; the Rams captured the 1A crown.

No. 8 Meade 69, Old Mill 44: Imani Bailey scored a game-high 28 points to lift the host Mustangs (22-1) over the Patriots in Class 4A East.

Meade led 15-4 after the first quarter and never trailed.

The Patriots finish 15-8.

The Mustangs host Arundel in Friday's regional championship at 6:30 p.m.

No. 13 Joppatowne 65, Harford Tech 37: Shakara Head had 20 points and Brittany Thornton added 14 as the host Mariners (24-2) beat the Cobras in Class 1A North.

Maria Kalambihis had a game-high 22 points for Harford Tech.

Joppatowne hosts Carver A&T Friday at 6:45 p.m.

Fallston 55, Edgewood 34: Lindsay Garnett scored 14 points to lead the host Cougars past the Rams in Class 2A East.

Fallston won the Class 3A state title last season and awaits the Kent Island-North Caroline winner in Friday's regional championship.
