Two men were hurt in separate incidents Wednesday morning, including an attempted robbery in Mount Vernon, according to city police.

A man was in the 800 block of N. Calvert St. about 3:10 a.m., police say, when he was approached by two people. The two robbed the man, stabbed him in the abdomen and fled on foot toward Guilford Avenue, according to police.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police have made no arrests.

In a separate incident, an unidentified man was shot in the leg and arm at the intersection of Hilton Street and Gwynns Falls Parkway in West Baltimore about 5:30 a.m. this morning.

The man was taken to an area hospital, and his condition is unknown.
