Digital Harbor routs Randallstown in Class 2A North matchup

Asia Logan scored 17 points and the Digital Harbor girls basketball team beat Randallstown, 74-41, in a Class 2A North regional quarterfinal on Monday.

The host Rams (17-5) led 19-11 before opening up a 40-28 lead at the half.

Digital Harbor hosts the winner of Douglass-Dundalk on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

No. 5 River Hill 64, Northeast 47: Alex Vega had a game-high 31 points, including eight 3-pointers, to power the host Hawks (19-2) past the Eagles (13-9) in Class 3A East.

River Hill led 37-19 at the half and faces Centennial in Wednesday's semifinal at 7 p.m.

No. 7 Arundel 62, South River 47: Sheronne Vails had 16 points to lead the host Wildcats (19-4) past the Seahawks in Class 4A East.

Dominique Hagins led all scorers with 18 points for South River.

Arundel hosts North Point on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

No. 8 Meade 78, North County 56: Imani Bailey paced the Mustangs (22-1) with 26 points, eight assists and eight steals against the host Knights in Class 4A East. The Mustangs took a 32-21 lead after the first quarter and maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Meade hosts Old Mill at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

No. 9 City 60, Eastern Tech 36: LaShay Taft had a game-high 32 points, leading the Knights (19-4) past the Mavericks in Class 2A North. Taft went 6-for-7 on 3-pointers in the second and third quarters. City will host tLansdowne on Wednesday.

No. 10 Western 55, North Harford 30: Ashle Craig had 20 points, seven rebounds and six steals as the host Doves (15-6) routed the Hawks in Class 3A North. The Doves led 18-6 after one quarter and never trailed. The Doves face host Catonsville on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

No. 12 Catonsville 51, Franklin 26: Candace McCray led the way with 15 points as the Comets (22-1) grabbed an early first-quarter lead and never looked back against the visiting Indians in Class 3A North.

No. 13 Joppatowne 64, Patterson Mill 53: Zameria Jones scored 24 points and the Mariners (22-2) outscored the Huskies 17-7 in the third quarter of a Class 1A North game. Joppatowne hosts Harford Tech Wednesday at 6:45 p.m..

Old Mill 78, Severna Park 55: Jasmine Smith had 21 points and Kourtney Salisbury added 19 as the host Patriots (15-7) beat the Falcons (7-11) in Class 4A East.

Fallston 62, Bel Air 20: Jess Harlee had a game-high 17 points as last year's state Class 3A champion Cougars advanced past the Bobcats to Wednesday's semifinal against the Edgewood.

Patterson 49, Perry Hall 44: Ciara Webb (22 points) led the way for the Clippers in Class 4A North. Patterson faces the winner of Westminster-Urbana on Wednesday.

Oakland Mills 57, McDonough 42: The host Scorpions (12-8) got to the free-throw line 36 times in their win over the Rams (8-11) in Class 2A South. Kara Height was the leading scorer for the Scorpions with 14 points. Oakland Mills faces Gwynn Park on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Mount Hebron 59, Howard 45: The Vikings (13-8) never trailed and Megan Schaaf finished with 18 points. Mount Hebron faces host J.M. Bennett Wednesday at 5 p.m..
