Erin Hawkins scored a game- and career-high 23 points off the bench to lead Morgan State (16-12, 11-4 MEAC) to a 73-69 upset victory over visiting North Carolina A&T (20-9, 13-2). Corin Adams had 18 points, eight steals and seven assists for the Bears, who had lost five straight to the Aggies. ... Jeanine Manley scored a career-high 28 points, leading host Coppin State (10-17, 5-10) to a 73-50 MEAC victory over Norfolk State (4-21, 0-15). ... Sophomore center Lynetta Kizer was named to the All-ACC third team after leading Maryland in scoring with 12.6 points per game and rebounding with 7.6 a game. Terps freshman forward Diandra Tchatchouang was named ACC Rookie of the Week. ... Loyola guards Miriam McKenzie (Oakland Mills), a sophomore who averages 16.6 points and 7.7 rebounds, was named to the All-MAAC first team, and teammate Katie Sheahin, a freshman, was selected to the rookie team. ... McDaniel senior Ali Moreland (South River) was named Centennial Conference Player of the Week.
