An employee of a Towson gas station was shot several times Monday morning during an apparent robbery attempt, according to Baltimore County police, and investigators were searching for a male suspect.
The victim, William Raymond Porter, 49, was shot about 7:25 a.m. at a Hess station in the 1600 block of E. Joppa Road. Police described the suspect as black, about 25 years old and 6 feet tall, and they said he was wearing a black, hooded sweat shirt.
