HIKING
Today Moderately paced and enviro-educational hike of eight or nine miles at St. Mary's River Park with the Appalachian Mountain Club and Sierra Club. See 250-acre lake, woodlands, fields and wetlands. Bring lunch and water (hot beverages also recommended) and warm clothing. Arrange with the leader to drive directly to the trailhead. HUNTING

March 15 and 20 State hunter education course, Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club, 9090 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena. SHOOTING
March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 Airgun league, Stoney Creek Fishing and Hunting Club, 9090 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena. Ten matches, beginning at 5 p.m. All shooting, except for beginning juniors, is offhand, and the course of fire for each match is 40 rounds at bull's- eye targets at 25 feet, and 20 rounds at silhouette targets at 50 feet.
