Getting there

Transportation: If driving, take Interstate 95 north to Exit 22 (previously 17), I-676 West. Bear right and exit onto Callowhill Street. Follow signs to 8th Street South - Chinatown, then to Pennsylvania Convention Center. Main show entrance is on 12th and Arch streets.

By train, take Amtrak to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. Then take a free SEPTA Regional Rail train at 30th Street Station to Market East Station (show the conductor your Amtrak ticket stub; save it for the return trip). Follow the signs to the Convention Center. Discount train tickets available. Go to amtrak.com.

Parking: About 8,000 well-lit parking spaces are located within four blocks of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Fees range from $20 to $31. For a map of parking lots, go to theflowershow.com.

Lodging: Hotels in Philadelphia offer a number of Flower Show packages with room rates ranging from $100 to $300 a night and including Flower Show admission for two. Reservations can be made at theflowershow.com or by calling 888-222-1736.

Dining: A number of food vendors are in the Convention Center, along with Sweet Streets Dessert Bar and the International Wine and Spirits Garden with DiBruno's Italian Foods in the Grand Hall. Other restaurants are located nearby in the Reading Terminal Market or in Chinatown.

Other attractions: "Picasso and the Avant-Garde in Paris" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art; "Body Worlds 2 & The Brain" at the Franklin Institute; "Ancient Rome and America" at the National Constitution Center.
