Baltimore police are investigating a shooting death Sunday night in Northeast Baltimore. An officer responded to a report of a shooting at 10:11 p.m. in the 3500 block of Cliftmont Ave. in the Belair-Edison neighborhood, according to police. In a rear alley, he found medical crews treating a male victim with gunshot wounds to the upper torso and head, police said. The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and pronounced dead at 12:16 a.m. Police are also investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old in the 200 block of N. Monroe St. in West Baltimore on Sunday night. Officers responding to a call for discharging of a firearm found the teenager lying on the street with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
