Erica DiClemente matched her career high for the second straight game with 19 points and Katie Sheahin scored a career-high 16, but the host Loyola women's basketball team lost, 70-60, to Marist on Friday. After the Greyhounds (11-6, 6-9 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) closed their deficit to 55-53 on a layup by Kaitlin Grant, the Red Foxes went on a 15-7 run, allowing only a 3-pointer by DiClemente while making two field goals and nine of 10 free throws to seal the victory. Corielle Yarde scored a game-high 20 for Marist (21-6, 13-2).

Wrestling: McDaniel junior Brock Glotfelty was named the Centennial Conference Wrestler of the Year in voting by the league's head coaches. Glotfelty, ranked ninth in the latest NWCA/Brute-Adidas Division III individual rankings at heavyweight, posted a 35-4 record during the regular season. He went 7-0 in Centennial dual-meet competition this season and will likely enter today's conference championship as the top seed. He leads the conference with 15 pins. Glotfelty is the fourth Green Terror wrestler to be named Wrestler of the Year by the conference, joining Ted Speers (1996), Charlie Conaway (2000) and Tony Howard (2006).
