Two shot, one fatally, in separate incidents in Northwest, West Baltimore

A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in Northwest Baltimore early Tuesday, according to city police.

Officers responded to a call for shots fired in the 3200 block of Woodland Ave. in the Park Heights neighborhood at about 1:15 a.m. Police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. The victim was taken to Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead about 20 minutes later, according to police.

Police have no suspects and no motives.

The shooting was the second in about a one-hour span in the city. Shortly after midnight, officers responded to shots fired at a carryout restaurant in the 4000 block of Frederick Ave. in West Baltimore.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the shoulder inside Yoa's Carryout, police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was expected to be treated and released, according to police.

Police have made no arrests in the incident.
