Closings, cancellations due to new storm

• The McDaniel-Johns Hopkins basketball doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until Thursday. The games will be played at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at McDaniel.

• All Merritt Athletic Clubs locations will be closing at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Weather permitting, all locations will open at noon Thursday. Visit www.merrittclubs.com after 10 a.m. Thursday for updates.

Mobtown Players' opening of "Closer" has been postponed until Feb. 18 and will run through March 14. Tickets purchased for this weekend's canceled opening performances will be honored at all other scheduled performances. For more information, go to mobtownplayers.net.

The National Aquarium in Baltimore will be closed on Feb. 10 and Feb. 11. Essential staff should report as assigned.

• The Navy women's basketball game against Lehigh scheduled for Wednesday at Alumni Hall has been postponed until Thursday at 5 p.m. All tickets for Wednesday's game will be honored Thursday night.

• Opera Vivente's Velantine's cabaret scheduled for Feb. 12 at The Great Hall of Emmanuel Episcopal Church has been rescheduled for Feb. 19.

REP Stage in Columbia canceled its 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. shows Wednesday. Additionally, all performances of "The Glass Menagerie" for Feb. 11-Feb. 14 have been cancelled.

St. Mary's College: Tuesday's women's and men's basketball doubleheader at Mary Washington has been rescheduled for Sunday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Fredericksburg, Va.

Single in Smalltimore:: Baltimore magazine's Single in Smalltimore party has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 17th at 7:30-10 p.m. at the Mt. Washington Tavern.

• All Feb. 10 shows at Sonar have been canceled.

The Towson men's basketball team's game against UNC-Wilmington has been postponed. The Tigers were scheduled to take on the Seahawks, a Colonial Athletic Association foe, at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Towson Center. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m.

• The Roslyn and Leonard Stoler Pavilion at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center will be closed Feb. 10 and Feb. 11. The clinic will be open Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13 for chemotherapy treatment and urgent visits only. Patient services coordinators will call all patients scheduled for February 10 and 11 to reschedule their visits.

• All outpatient clinic appointments throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System are being canceled on Wednesday, Feb. 10, due to the impending snowstorm and the concern for patient safety. The outpatient clinic appointments being canceled are located at the Baltimore and Perry Point VA Medical Centers; the Loch Raven VA Community Living & Rehabilitation Center; and the Cambridge, Fort Howard, Glen Burnie, Loch Raven and Pocomoke City VA Outpatient Clinics.

All in-patient services throughout the VA Maryland Health Care System and the Emergency Room at the Baltimore VA Medical Center will remain operational. Veterans who need medical advice or who have questions about their medications can call the VA Maryland Health Care System's Telephone Care Line 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by dialing 1-800-865-2441.

• Due to inclement weather conditions, Valley Mall, 17301 Valley Mall Road in Hagerstown, will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 10, and will re-open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11.

• The Verizon Center's Disney on Ice performances for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 11 are canceled. Tickets may be refunded or exchanged for an alternate performance. For more information, call 301-808-2405 or go to ticketmaster.com.

The Walters Art Museum will be closed on Feb. 10, Feb. 11 and Feb. 12. Also, the Members Opening Event and Donor Dinner has been postponed until February 26.
