A driver doing doughnuts in a parking lot during Friday's snowstorm lost control of his vehicle and drove it through the window of a restaurant in Edgewater, Anne Arundel County police said.

Police said that they were called to the Greene Turtle in the 3200 block of Solomons Island Road around 8:15 p.m. and got there to find that a 2004 silver GMC Sierra had driven through the front window, police said.

They identified the driver as Dusty Shifflett, 33, of the 3600 block of Fontron Drive in Edgewater. Charges are expected pending an investigation, police said.
