Opportunities Industrialization Center provides job training and placement services to low-income unemployed and underemployed Anne Arundel County residents.

Volunteers are needed to help teach basic computer skills, GED classes, English as a Second Language, resume writing, math skills, writing skills, job skills, job-interviewing and other classes. Classes are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings in Annapolis.

Office volunteers are also needed to help with administrative work 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 1908 Forest Drive. Some knowledge of Microsoft Word is needed; training is provided.
