MARGARET "PEG" McCONVILLE RUDDOCK, age 92, of Indiana, died Monday, February 1, 2010 at her home. She was born 1917 in Indiana Co. to Robert W. and Agnes Penvose McConville. Peg was a life member of the Historical & Genealogical Society of Indiana Co., where she served as secretary from 1982 to 1997. A resident of Baltimore, MD for 30 years, she was employed as a secretary for Abbott Laboratories. She was also employed by JJ Haines and Armstrong Flooring. She relocated to Indiana in 1980. She enjoyed sewing, reading and crafts. Mrs. Ruddock is survived by two sons, James R. and wife Gloria Baer, Baltimore, MD and Terry L. and wife Diana Thomas, Bel Air, MD; daughter-in-law Kay Hardesty Ruddock, Baltimore, MD; six grandchildren Andrew, Rene'e and Tad Ruddock, Jaime, Shelley and Christopher Ruddock; and by eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James R. Ruddock in 1994, her son Robert W. in 2008, and by three brothers, Robert, Richard and James McConville. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
