Owings Mills Wrestlers Stay Unbeaten

R.J. Harris scored 19 points as the No. 4 Arundel boys basketball team beat visiting Meade, 84-64, Thursday.

The Wildcats (16-1) held an eight- to10-point lead most of the game and outscored the Mustangs (6-10) every quarter.

Meade's Marcus Snipes led all scorers with 21 points.

No. 5 Digital Harbor 70, Southside 50: : Justin Jackson scored 24 points and Davon Usher 20 to lead the Rams (16-3) past the visiting Jaguars.

No. 10 Annapolis 80, North County 48: : The host Panthers (15-1) outscored the Knights by 10 points in the second and fourth quarters.

Delmore Howard and Warren Holliday each had double doubles for Annapolis.

Girls basketball

No. 10 City 63, Douglass 22: : La- Shay Taft scored 16 points and Carissa Shropshire added 14 to power the host Knights (14-3) past the Ducks.

No. 13 Joppatowne 63, Bel Air 43: : The host Mariners (16-2), led by Brittany Thornton with 17 points, led 32-20 at the half. Jasmine Mutunga had 12 points for the Bobcats.


No. 7 Owings Mills 60, Lansdowne 14: : The host Eagles (19-0) took 11 of 14 matches for the win over the Vikings (8-6).

Leading the way for Owings Mills was Warren Mack (103) with a 24-1 record and Brian Richardson (130) at 25-1.
