Police reports in Baltimore city and county

Southeastern Baltimore
Arrests City police and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive federal agents raided a house in the 1100 block of Bonsal St. Wednesday and arrested two men on warrants and seized an 8mm rifle and several ounces of suspected cocaine. Arrested and charged with weapon and drug violations were Jimmie Newell, 47, whose address was not available, and Randy Carver, 52, of the Bonsal Street address.

Theft Someone broke into Hertz Equipment Rentals in the 5500 block of O'Donnell St. between Tuesday night and early Wednesday and pumped out 1,742 gallons of diesel fuel from an underground storage tank. The fuel was valued at $4,093.

Theft A navigational system valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from a 2008 Dodge Nitro parked in the 400 block of Foster Ave.

Stolen vehicle Police were seeking a blue 4-door 2010 Chevrolet Impala with tags 6FM T36 that was stolen between Tuesday and Wednesday in the 2100 block of Gough St.

Western Baltimore
Arrest At least one man was arrested after police raided a house in the 700 block of N. Carey St. Wednesday and seized a large sum of money and nearly 500 gel caps containing suspected heroin. The man's name and details of the raid were not available.

Arrests Members of a crime reduction unit were in the 800 block of W. Saratoga St. near the Poe Homes neighborhood about 6 p.m. Wednesday when they observed a young male attempting to hide a handgun in the snow. A search of the teenager revealed a box of ammunition. Recovered from the snow was a .32 caliber semiautomatic handgun. The youth was charged as a juvenile with illegal possession of a firearm.

Baltimore Co. – Pikesville
Burglary Someone broke into Couture Moda, a clothing store in the 1100 block of Reisterstown Road, through a rear door between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and stole clothing valued at $5,000. The theft was discovered by police responding to a burglar alarm.

Baltimore Co. – Woodlawn
Robbery A deliveryman for Pizza City was about to deliver food to the occupants of a house in the 3100 block of Woodford Place about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted from behind by two apparently unarmed men who robbed him of more than $100.

Assault/arrest A man and his girlfriend were arguing in their home in the 700 block of Charing Cross Road about 8 p.m. Tuesday when the man pulled out a handgun and fired a shot that missed the woman. Arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree assault was Michael Jones, 33.
