Survived by one daughter, Valarie Tate; seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lillian Mitchell, Dolores Tate, Barbara Reynolds and Diane Tate; two brothers, Randolph and Roderick Tate; nieces, nephews, aunts and a host of other relatives and friends. On Friday, February 5, friends may call the family owned and operated by WILLIAM C. BROWN COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 1206 W. North Avenue, from 3 to 7 PM. Also Monday February 8, from 3 to 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at Homestead U.M.C., 1500 Gorsuch Avenue, where family will receive friends at 11 AM, funeral services to follow 11:30 AM. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park.
